Now That’s What I call High Quality H2O

Waterfall pics are fun to take and beautiful to look at. And there are so many options when it comes to composition and style. You can take one shot of a waterfall with a fast shutter speed and each drop will be frozen in place - in midair. You can take a shot of the exact same waterfall from the exact same spot at the exact same time with a slower shutter speed and the two images can almost look like different waterfalls.

My camera settings for waterfalls are with each shot.

Froze to Death Creek

A couple of cool things happened while we were in Big Timber, Montana. Firstly, Susan bumped into Nancy Snyderman, former Chief Medical Chick for ABC. She now owns a small retail shop in Big Timber

Another cool thing was stumbling across this waterfall. It had been raining (what seemed like) nonstop the week we were there. During a short break in the action, we did some exploring. The rain gave us this.

Clear Water Falls

There are waterfalls everywhere in the Crescent, Oregon, area. You can’t miss them. This is one of my favorites. The entire area looked like something from a fantasy movie. I expected to see elves pop out from somewhere.

Mirror Lake

It took us about an hour to get Big Horn National Forest from our campsite in Buffalo, Wyoming. The hike itself was so good. There are woods, plains, steep climbs…and water. Lots of water.

Toketee Falls

Bora Bora

We planned on going to Bora Bora for our 25th wedding anniversary in June 2020. Then 2020 happened. We ended up getting there in 2021. Worth the wait.

Multnomah Falls

While Susan was working her tail off running a half marathon, I went waterfall hunting. It’s not too hard to find this one in Oregon. After all, it has its own exit. There are people on the bridge.
